Privacy Policy
This policy explains how the Causal Exploring tool processes, handles, and protects the datasets and information you upload during your research sessions.
1. Data Collection
We do not collect personal health identifiers or contact details. The datasets you upload for causal exploring analysis are purely observational and research-oriented. We advise users to ensure that all uploaded CSV files are fully anonymized before uploading.
2. Data Processing & Storage
When you upload a dataset and run the causal analysis, the CSV file is processed temporarily in memory on our computational servers to execute the selected algorithm (PC-Stable, MRPC, or MMHC). Uploaded files are not persisted or stored long-term. They are automatically deleted from our server memory immediately after the analysis terminates and the results are sent back to your browser.
3. Data Sharing and Third Parties
We do not share, sell, or distribute your research datasets with any third-party organizations, advertising networks, or commercial entities. All data processing is strictly confined to our secure research server environment.
4. Security Measures
All communications between your web browser and our analysis servers are encrypted using industry-standard Transport Layer Security (TLS/HTTPS). This ensures that your dataset cannot be intercepted during transmission.
5. User Consent & Retention
By utilizing the Causal Exploring tool, you consent to the temporary memory-based processing of the data described herein. Because we do not store your files after execution, requests for data retrieval, correction, or deletion are not applicable as no data remains on our servers.
